Figaro B Belgian warmblood stallion

Figaro B

2005, 17h Belgian Warmblood Stallion
by Pavarotti VD Helle out of Rianne by Wellington

Licensed by BWP, German Oldenburg Verband, RPSI, Belgian Sporthorse (sBs)

True to his pedigree, Figaro B shows exceptional talent for both dressage and show jumping. A powerful jumper, with beautiful movement Figaro B should shine in both arenas. Adding a "10" temperament to his talent and good looks, Figaro B should be an important stallion in the future.  Figaro B made his Pre-Green Hunter debut with Rick Harris of Hunter's Bluff Farm in the fall of 2009 at the Texas Rose Classic.Figaro B took home a 2nd, two 3rds, a 6th and an 8th in large Pre-Green Hunter classes.  He also placed 2nd in the Hunter Classic.  Fig continued his winning ways in the High Pre-Greens at the Great Southwest Fall classic and was Pre-green Champion in Folsom. Figaro B  is owned by Bobburk Farm and will stand at Rising Star Farm.  His first foal (2009) was premium.
Figaro B's sire, Pavarotti vd Helle has consistently produced offspring at the highest levels of both dressage and jumping competition including Quintus who placed 10th at the Beijing Olympic Games in showjumping.. Pavarotti himself was the reserve champion of the jumping test for Rheinland and Westfalen as well as the BWP. Following a trailer accident, Pavarotti became a champion dressage performer. The descendants of Pavarotti are notable for their good looks. As well, they combine super movement with excellent jumping technique. Figaro B's grandsire, Pilot is without doubt the best Westphalian producer of jumpers. Pilot has produced about thirty Grand Prix horses including Priamos, Bugatti Pedro, Piro, and Panama. Damsire Wellington was reserve champion of the stallion testing in 1983 and went on to place 3rd in the National stallion competition in 1985, 2nd in the 1987 competition, and 1st in the stallion competition category C. He also starred in dressage at Z-level and jumped nationally. He earned his "keur" predicate by siring many "ster" and "keur" mares, and approved stallions like Emilion, Farrington, and Glennridge. He has also sired many international show jumpers like VDL Jupiter, Jerome, SP Deka and What a Game. Wellington has also sired top dressage horses like Bolvorms Ceylon and Luxaflex.

2009 #2 Leading Sire • 2010 #1 Leading Sire

Wimpys Little Step is quite simply a reining phenomenon. During his three year old year, this bionic stallion captured the interest of the reining industry when he won both the 2002 AQHA Congress Open Reining Futurity and the 2002 NRHA Open Futurity with Shawn Flarida in the saddle. In doing so, Wimpys Little Step earned over $185,000. He is only the second horse to win both the Congress and NRHA Open Futurities.
Just six short years later, the 9-year-old stallion was the NRHA's newest and youngest Million Dollar Sire.
Wimpys Little Step is owned by Xtra Quarter Horses, Purcell, Oklahoma, and is by NRHA Million Dollar Sire Nu Chex To Cash and out of Leolita Step. Remarkably, Wimpys Little Step and his sire both became NRHA Million Dollar Sires in 2008, another record for the NRHA history books.

www.xtraquarterhorses.com

Wimpys Little Step has stepped up in a big way and, in just his first year as a breeding horse, had sired six NRHA Futurity Open finalists, including a Futurity Champion. The stand-out's first foal crop produced 32 money-earning offspring, bringing in a combined $750,000+

Wimpys Little Step made history at this year’s Carolina Classic Derby, held May 13-16 in Williamston, N.C., when his offspring surpassed $2 million in NRHA earnings. The flashy palomino stallion joins eight of NRHA’s leading stallions as a Two Million Dollar Sire and is the youngest – by a margin of five years – to attain that status.

The 11-year-old stallion (Nu Chex To Cash x Leolita Step x Forty Seven) has an impressive show record. With only three foal crops in NRHA competition, he’s already proven his ability to pass his talent on to future generations.

The Carolina Classic Derby proved Wimpy’s ability to produce reining horses for all levels of competition. Wimpys Show Stopper (out of Pinesail by Topsail Cody), owned by Charles Vaughan, earned the Open Championship with Flarida aboard. Jessicah Torpey rode Wimpys Smart Step (out of Bar S Smart Lookin by Smart Chic Olena), owned by Torpey Performance Horses, Princeton, Ky., to the Non-Pro Reserve Championship. Andre DeBellefeuille piloted Smart Step N Chic (out of Homecoming Chic by Smart Chic Olena), owned by Equine Plus, St-Hilaire, Canada, to Co-Championships in both the Intermediate Non-Pro and Prime Time Non-Pro.

Romantic Star's distinctly beautiful form and tremendous presence instantly grabs the attention of all those in his wake. This modern, elegant stallion provides the extraordinary qualities which make the hearts of hunter riders and breeders beat faster: supermodel looks, supple, balanced gaits, sensational jumping form and ability, extreme ride ability, and a truly noble and charming disposition. After a lengthy dressage career, he has now emerged as a shooting star among hunter stallions, winning nearly every class he has entered in the hunter ring.
At his performance test in Germany, Romantic Star received a 10 for his character, 9's for temperament, willingness, and 8's for constitution, walk, canter, and ride ability. His jumping technique and talent earned him a rare nomination to the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program, to which only the most elite stallions are mares are invited after accomplishing stringent requirements. Romantic Star's prowess in this area should come as no surprise, considering his pedigree represents many of the most sought-after jumping talents lined up like a string of pearls.
As you watch him jump with knees tucked into his throat latch, and hear the gasps from the crowd, his popularity as a sire of noteworthy hunters and performance horses is confirmed. Romantic Star has proven his worth in the breeding shed, producing many premium awarded offspring who have then gone on to compete successfully in not only the hunters, but jumpers and dressage as well. He also has won Get of Sire at Upper ville; his foals have proved to be fashionable in the hunter breeding arena as well..
